Description
The Butterfly bush 'Sophie' (Buddleja davidii) is an upright, loose, funnel-shaped, compact shrub that produces lilac-coloured flowers arranged in panicles, which have a strong fragrance. They appear from July to September. The Butterfly bush 'Sophie' also has lanceolate, grey-green leaves. In a sunny position with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 60 cm and spreads to around 80 cm.
