Description
With its green and white leaf colouring, Feather reed grass 'Avalanche' (Calamagrostis x acutiflora) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright growth. The brown flower panicles adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with a well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich, sandy soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows up to 80 cm wide.
