Description
With its blue-green leaf colouring, the Reed grass (Calamagrostis arundinacea) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright and clump-forming growth. The light brown panicles of flowers adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with sandy, loose, nutrient-rich soil that is as well-drained as possible. Under favourable conditions, this grass reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows up to 80 cm wide.
