Description
The Calamint (Calamintha grandiflora) is a bushy, clump-forming perennial that produces pink, lip-shaped, whorled flowers with a pleasant fragrance from May to July. Its egg-shaped, toothed leaves are light green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Calamint is well tolerant of frost.
