Description
The Lesser calamint 'Blue Cloud' (Calamintha nepeta) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces blue-violet, lip-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from July to September. Its shiny, egg-shaped, serrated to toothed leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Lesser calamint 'Blue Cloud' is well tolerant of frost.
