Description
The Powderpuff plant (Calliandra surinamensis) is a very popular evergreen container plant. Its decorative flowers appear from June to July. The location should be as sunny as possible. Well-drained and loose soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Powderpuff plant reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 2.5 m wide.

Care
Over time, the soil loses some important properties. The plants should therefore be transplanted into a larger pot with fresh container plant soil every two years in spring.
