Description
With its dark green leaves, Marsh marigold (Caltha palustris var. alba) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, ponds and bee pasture. White flowers appear from March to May. It prefers well-drained, loose, sandy soil in a sunny to shady position. The Marsh marigold is well tolerant of frost. The flat, clump-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm.
