Description
The Common camellia 'Bonomiana' (Camellia japonica) is a very popular, evergreen container plant. Its pink-coloured, double flowers appear from February to May. The dark green leaves are lanceolate and glossy, leathery. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, humus-rich, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Common camellia 'Bonomiana' reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 2 m wide.
