Description
The Kamelie 'Lavinia Maggi' (Camellia japonica) is a very popular, evergreen container plant. Its pink-red, double flowers are cupped and appear from March to May. The dark green leaves are lanceolate and glossy, leathery. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, humus-rich, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Kamelie 'Lavinia Maggi' reaches a height of approx. 2.5 m and grows up to 2.5 m wide.
