Description
The Common camellia 'Mathotiana Alba' (Camellia japonica) is a very popular evergreen container plant. Its red, pink or white, double flowers appear from February to May. The dark green leaves are lanceolate and glossy, leathery. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, humus-rich, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Common camellia 'Mathotiana Alba' reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 2 m wide.
