Description
The Common camellia 'Paolina Guichardini' (Camellia japonica) is a very popular, evergreen container plant. Its coral-red, double flowers appear from February to April. The dark green leaves are lanceolate and glossy, leathery. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, humus-rich, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Common camellia 'Paolina Guichardini' reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows up to 1 m wide.
