Description
The Common camellia 'Snowball' (Camellia japonica) is a very popular evergreen container plant. Its white, double flowers appear in April. The dark green leaves are lanceolate and glossy, leathery. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, humus-rich, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Common camellia 'Snowball' reaches a height of approx. 2.5 m and grows up to 2 m wide.
