Description
The Common camellia 'William Bartlett' (Camellia japonica) is a very popular, evergreen container plant. Its red, pink, white or multicoloured, double flowers appear from February to May. The dark green leaves are lanceolate, glossy and leathery. It should be planted in a position that is as sunny as possible or in partial shade. Well-drained, humus-rich, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Common camellia 'William Bartlett' reaches a height of approx. 3 m and spreads up to 2 m wide.
