Description
The Common camellia 'Bicolor' (Camellia japonica) is a very popular, evergreen container plant. Its two-coloured, double flowers appear from February to May. The dark green leaves are lanceolate and glossy, leathery. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, humus-rich, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Common camellia 'Bicolor' reaches a height of approx. 2 m and grows up to 1.5 m wide.
