The Common camellia 'Brushfield Yellow' (Camellia japonica) is a very popular, evergreen container plant. Its light yellow, double flowers appear from January to March. The dark green leaves are lanceolate and glossy, leathery. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. A well-drained, humus-rich, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Common camellia 'Brushfield Yellow' reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 2 m wide.
