Description
The American harebell (Campanula carpatica) is a bushy, cushion-forming, rounded perennial that produces blue, purple or white, bell-shaped flowers from June to July. Its heart-shaped leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 25 cm and is approx. 25 cm wide. The American harebell is well tolerant of frost.
