Description
The Swamp Sedge (Carex acutiformis) with its blue-green, full-edged leaves is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for use in containers, solitary plants and group planting. Green flowers appear from May to June. It prefers well-drained, loose soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Swamp Sedge is well tolerant of frost. The runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 metres.
