Carex arenaria - P9

Description
With its grey-green leaf colouring, Sand Sedge (Carex arenaria) is a decorative design element in the garden, but with its upright and runner-forming growth it also adorns containers on balconies or terraces. The light brown flower spikes adorn this grass from spring onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with a well-drained, loose, sandy, dry soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows up to 50 cm wide.
