Description
With its medium-green leaves, the Elongated Sedge (Carex elongata) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly well suited to uses such as group planting and pond edges. Green flowers appear from May to June. It prefers well-drained, loose, moist to wet soil in a sunny to shady position. The Elongated Sedge is highly frost-tolerant. This clump-forming, evergreen plant usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm.
