Carex flacca - P9

Carex flacca - P9

Description
The Carnation grass (Carex flacca) is a decorative design element in the garden which, with its creeping, cushion-forming and rhizome-forming growth, also adorns containers on balconies or terraces. The brown to red flower fronds adorn this grass from spring onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with a well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and grows up to 40 cm wide.
