Description
With its green and white leaf colouring, Mountain sedge 'Raureif' (Carex montana) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns pots on balconies or terraces with its overhanging growth. The yellow flower plumes adorn this grass from spring onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with a well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.
