Description
With its medium green leaves, Cyperus sedge (Carex pseudocyperus) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for use in pots, pond edges, streams and ponds. Yellow-green flowers appear from May to July. It prefers well-drained, lime-free, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Cyperus sedge is well tolerant of frost. The clump-forming, overhanging, evergreen plant usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm.
