Description
The Japanese hornbeam 'Chinese Lantern' (Carpinus japonica) is a sprawling garden plant with decorative, greenish-yellow, elongated fruits. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 metres and grows to a width of approx. 6 metres.
