Description
The Little Shellbark Hickory (Carya ovata) is a large, upright tree that produces green-white flowers. They appear from May to June. These produce green fruit from October. The Little Shellbark Hickory also has fingered, medium green leaves. Its bark is grey and scaly. In a sunny location with loamy, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of around 25 metres and grows to a width of around 15 metres.
