Description
The Bluebeard (Caryopteris clandonensis) is an upright small shrub that produces blue flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from July to September. The Bluebeard also has matt, lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1 metre and grows to around 1 metre wide.
