Description
The Purple hybrid catalpa (Catalpa erubescens) is a conical, spreading garden plant that produces white flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from July to August. Its bark is grey. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 10 metres and grows to a width of around 8 metres.
