The Californian lilac 'Dark Star' (Ceanothus) is a garden plant that produces dark blue flowers. In a sunny, sheltered position with well-drained, nutrient-rich, sandy-loam soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.5 m and spreads to a width of approx. 2.5 m.
