The Californian lilac 'Emily Brown' (Ceanothus delilianus) is a loose, compact, dwarf small shrub that produces blue flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from July to October. The Californian lilac 'Emily Brown' also has lanceolate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.
