Description
The Santa Barbara ceanothus (Ceanothus impressus) is a bushy shrub that produces dark blue flowers arranged in panicles. These appear from May to July. The Santa Barbara ceanothus also has dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded, sheltered position with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1 m and spreads to around 80 cm.
