Description
The Red valerian 'Coccineus' (Centranthus ruber) is an upright perennial that forms scarlet-red, star-shaped flowers arranged in panicles from June to September. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The Red valerian 'Coccineus' is well tolerant of frost.
