Description
The Buttonbush 'Magical Moonlight'® (Cephalanthus occidentalis) is a bushy, broad shrub that produces creamy white, ball-shaped flowers. They appear in June. The Buttonbush 'Magical Moonlight'® also has shiny, lanceolate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.4 m and grows to approx. 1.8 m wide.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
- Hardy but frost-sensitive potted plants must be winterised before the first cold days. To do this, the pot can be wrapped with fleece, coconut or straw mats, jute or bubble wrap. Evergreen plants also need to be watered on frost-free winter days. - Cut back boldly in spring so that the plant grows compactly.
