Description
The Giant Scabious (Cephalaria gigantea) is an upright perennial that produces pale yellow, basket-shaped flowers from July to August. Its pinnate leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2.2 metres and grows to a width of around 1.2 metres. The Giant Scabious is well tolerant of frost.
