Description
The Katsurabaum 'Hannas Heart'® (Cercidiphyllum japonicum) is an upright, columnar small tree that produces red flowers. They appear in April. The Katsurabaum 'Hannas Heart'® also has matt, heart-shaped, dark green leaves. The copper-brown shoots are also an interesting sight. Its bark is dark grey and longitudinally furrowed. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 6.5 m and is approx. 4.5 m wide.
