Description
The Katsura tree 'Rotfuchs' (Cercidiphyllum japonicum) is an umbrella-shaped, picturesque, pyramidal large shrub or tree that produces scarlet-red flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from April to May. The Katsura tree 'Rotfuchs' also has matt, roundish, dark red leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to around 4 metres wide.
