Description
The Eastern redbud 'Eternal Flame'® (Cercis canadensis) is a spreading, deciduous garden plant with decorative, heart-shaped, yellow-green leaves. The red-orange shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears pink, butterfly-shaped flowers from April to May. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to a width of around 3.5 metres.
