Description
The Eastern redbud 'Golden Falls' (Cercis canadensis) is a hanging shrub with decorative, brown, pod-shaped fruits. It produces purple-red, butterfly-shaped flowers from April to early May. The Eastern redbud 'Golden Falls' also has heart-shaped, yellow-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to around 1.2 metres wide.
