Description
The Judasbaum 'Heart`s Desire' (Cercis canadensis) is a sprawling, roundish large shrub that produces crimson, butterfly-shaped flowers. They appear from April to May. These produce brown, pod-shaped fruits. The Judasbaum 'Heart`s Desire' also has heart-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4.5 metres and grows to around 6 metres wide.
