Description
The Eastern redbud 'Rubye Atkinson' (Cercis canadensis) is a sprawling, picturesque, upright large shrub that produces light pink, butterfly-shaped flowers. They appear from April to May. The Eastern redbud 'Rubye Atkinson' also has heart-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and is around 3 metres wide.
