Description
The Chinese redbud 'Avondale' (Cercis chinensis) is a shrub-like, upright small shrub that produces pink-coloured flowers. They appear from April to May. The Chinese redbud 'Avondale' also has heart-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2.5 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
