Description
The Japanese quince 'Cido' (Chaenomeles japonica) is a sprawling small shrub with decorative, yellow, pear-shaped, round fruits. It produces orange-red flowers from May to June. The Japanese quince 'Cido' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres. The Japanese quince 'Cido' makes no particular demands on the soil.
