Description
The Japanese quince 'Sargentii' (Chaenomeles japonica) is a sprawling small shrub with decorative, yellow, orange-coloured, pear-shaped fruits. It produces red flowers from May to June. The Japanese quince 'Sargentii' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres. The Japanese quince 'Sargentii' makes no special demands on the soil.
