Description
The Japanese quince 'Kinshiden' (Chaenomeles speciosa) is a bushy, upright shrub that produces white flowers. They appear from March to May. With the right care, the Japanese quince 'Kinshiden' will flower again from July to August. These produce greenish-yellow, pear-shaped fruits from October. The Japanese quince 'Kinshiden' also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.4 metres and grows to a width of approx. 3 metres. The Japanese quince 'Kinshiden' makes no particular demands on the soil.
