Description
The Japanese quince 'Kinshiden' (Chaenomeles speciosa) is a bushy, upright shrub that produces white flowers. These appear from March to May. With proper care, the Japanese quince 'Kinshiden' flowers again from July to August. From October onwards, these give way to greenish-yellow, pear-shaped fruits. The Japanese quince 'Kinshiden' also bears lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny position, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.4 m and spreads to approx. 3 m. The Japanese quince 'Kinshiden' has no particular soil requirements.
