Description
The Zierquitte 'Lemon Sorbet' (Chaenomeles speciosa) is a rounded shrub that produces creamy-yellow, cup-shaped flowers. These appear from March to May. With proper care, the Zierquitte 'Lemon Sorbet' flowers again from July to August. From these, greenish, pear-shaped fruits develop from October onwards. The Zierquitte 'Lemon Sorbet' also bears lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny position, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 m and spreads to approx. 2 m. The Zierquitte 'Lemon Sorbet' has no particular soil requirements.
