Description
The Japanese quince 'Toyo Nishiki' (Chaenomeles speciosa) is a dense, branched shrub that produces white-pink coloured flowers. They appear from April to May. With the right care, the Japanese quince 'Toyo Nishiki' will flower again from July to August. These produce yellow, pear-shaped fruits from September. The Japanese quince 'Toyo Nishiki' also has lanceolate, medium green leaves. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.8 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres. The Japanese quince 'Toyo Nishiki' makes no particular demands on the soil.
