Description
The Lawson cypress 'Stardust' (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) is a large shrub that grows upright in a conical shape and usually reaches a height of around 7 metres and a width of around 3 metres. Its scale-like leaves are yellow-green in colour. They turn a beautiful bronze colour in winter. This shrub tolerates frost well. It prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position sheltered from the wind.
