Description
The Hinoki cypress 'Lucas' (Chamaecyparis obtusa) is a small shrub that grows round and usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and a width of around 1.5 metres. Its scaly, glossy leaves are yellow-green in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
