Description
The Sawara cypress 'Boulevard' (Chamaecyparis pisifera) is a shrub that grows cone-shaped and usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and a width of around 2 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are silver-blue in colour. They turn a beautiful blue-grey in winter. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers loose, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
