Description
The Sawara cypress 'Squarrosa Lombarts' (Chamaecyparis pisifera) is a shrub that grows upright and slender, usually reaching a height of around 2.5 m and a width of around 1.5 m. Its scale-like leaves are blue-grey in colour. In winter, they turn a beautiful purplish-violet. This shrub is highly frost-hardy. It prefers loose, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shaded position.

Very decorative. The Sawara cypress 'Squarrosa Lombarts' is evergreen. Its needles are blue-grey, soft and scale-like. With its purplish-violet foliage, it adds lovely accents in winter.
