Description
The Sawara cypress 'Squarrosa' (Chamaecyparis pisifera) is a shrub that grows loosely in a conical shape and usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and a width of around 2 metres. Its scale-like leaves are blue-green in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers loose, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
